According to different bottom reinforcement processes, open-top flat bottom FIBCs can be divided into three types, and the structure directly affects the load-bearing capacity and lifting stability:

Type 1 Cross-bottom Reinforced

The bottom is reinforced with cross-stitching technology, featuring a simple structure and low production cost. The stress points are concentrated at the cross seams. With a standard load capacity of 0.5 to 1 ton, it is suitable for light-weight conventional materials such as sand, gravel and grain particles.

Type 2 Grid-bottom Reinforced

The bottom is reinforced with multi-layer grid-shaped stitching. Compared with cross-bottom reinforcement, it adds horizontal and vertical stress support, resulting in stronger load-bearing capacity of 1 to 2 tons. The bag body bears force evenly during lifting without deformation easily.

Type 3 X-bottom Reinforced

The bottom is reinforced with diagonal X-shaped stitching, which disperses the stress points to the four corners of the bag body. Combined with reinforced side lifting slings, its load-bearing capacity can be increased to 2 to 3 tons with a higher safety factor.
